Lanikai is the exotic beach located on the Windward side of Oahu in Kailua. In fact it is not only postcard perfect beach in reality also it is simply fabulous. It is the most scenic beach in Hawaii. This beach in not the congested one as Lanikai Beach is wide and surf free. The setting picture is breathtaking with palm trees lining the backshore and the nearby twin islands: Mokumanu and Mokulua. Both the islands have noted bird sanctuaries. The larger one is very popular with the boaters, kayakers, surfers, paddlers and sailors. The smaller one can be visited daily and especially on weekends and holidays. It is best for swimming and picnic. In winter one can enjoy surfing as tides were perfect at that time. It is also termed as "royal sea" or "heavenly sea."
